Have FUN Learning About Hawaiian Culture…

One of the most unique and special components of Rein Project Hawaii is our authentic Cultural Immersion program taught by the local Kapuna (elders). Two nights each week, our teenagers will learn to dance the hula, make leis, play the ukulele, learn how to husk coconuts, in addition to many other exciting cultural opportunities. Because Hilo is such an authentic Hawaiian community, it is the perfect place for our teenagers to learn about the culture of Hawaii. Our Cultural Immersion Program offers our teenagers the chance to experience and participate in these once-in-a-lifetime, hands-on cultural activities that will serve as treasured memories of their summer spent in Hilo.
