The Rein Community Service team is committed to providing unique and transformational experiences that resonate deep within our participants. Our once-in-a-lifetime programs are made to instill confidence, maturity, and passion for people, cultures, and ideas that are new to our student travelers – benefits that extend far beyond their summer experiences. These experiences can serve as a catalyst for our teenagers to develop lifelong interests, and each teenager’s personal growth is our most valued outcome.
Our service programs provide authentic and meaningful volunteer opportunities for each one of our teenagers. Whether you travel with us to Ecuador, Hawaii, California, or Costa Rica, each program is designed to be a rich, fulfilling experience that makes a positive impact on the communities we work with and on each of one our teen travelers. It is our goal that by the end of each community service program, our teenagers have had meaningful encounters with the peoples and the communities visited and each person comes away feeling like he or she has had a lasting impact.
One of the greatest gifts we can offer people and places is the volunteering of our time. There is no shortage of ways to help – mentor children in underserved communities, care for abandoned or injured animals, help restore local eco-systems, lend a hand to struggling families. We also believe personal growth comes not only from volunteering with the local communities, but also results from exploring the cultures, languages, and customs in the places we visit. Learn to dance the hula on the Big island of Hawaii, learn how to salsa dance in the shadow of the volcanoes of Costa Rica, and participate in a Shaman ritual in the Ecuadorian Amazon.
We look forward to you joining us for the most rewarding, enriching, and exciting summer of a lifetime!
