Travelers from the New York Metropolitan Area –

Prior to the summer, our travel coordinators will make all necessary flight arrangements for our program participants.  Teenagers departing from the New York/Northern and Central New Jersey metropolitan area will travel on group flights arranged by Rein from either John F. Kennedy Int’l Airport, Newark/Liberty Int’l Airport, or LaGuardia Airport. Rein staff members fly with teenagers on all group flights.

In the spring, we will provide you with the flight information and the airfare for our group flights.  Parents are asked to authorize payment for the flights and Rein Teen Tours does the rest!  Frequent Flyer points cannot be used for payment for group flights.  Special routing requests can be accommodated, and we ask parents to notify the Rein office as early as possible so we can make the correct flight arrangements.  An example of a special request would be a teenager flying only one-way, because they will be staying in California visiting relatives after the trip.

On the day of departure, our travel staff will meet you at the airport, check in the teenagers and their luggage, and take the group through security to the departure gate. Drop off is a breeze!

Travelers from outside the New York Metropolitan Area –

For the many travelers joining us from outside the New York metropolitan area, our travel coordinators will reach out to you in the spring with suggested flight information. We arrange for teenagers traveling from the same geographic area to travel together on the same flights.  Parents are asked to authorize payment for the flights and Rein Teen Tours does the rest!  We book the reservations, and we issue the tickets. There is no charge for our plane ticketing service.

On departure day, parents will bring their teenagers to the airport, check them in for their flight, and send them through security to the departure gate. Upon arriving at the destination, the teenagers will be met by Rein staff members. Our airport pick-up staff will call you before the tour and share their cell phone numbers with you, giving you additional peace of mind.

In the case of younger travelers who may be required to register as an accompanied minor (the airlines will charge a fee for this service) and who are flying separate from the group, our airport pick-up staff will meet the unaccompanied minor at the arrival gate and present the necessary identification to leave the secure area with the teenager.

Bus Departures (Eastern Adventure, Crossroads and Mini-Tours)

Travelers from the New York Metropolitan Area –

For our tours that begin with a bus departure (Eastern Adventure, Crossroads, and Mini-Tours), you will be asked to bring your teenager to a local, convenient pick-up point in the New York/Northern New Jersey metropolitan area.  Our coach bus and tour staff will meet you on the morning of departure at your assigned pick-up location. You do not need to bring your teenager to the tour’s first destination!

Travelers from outside the New York Metropolitan Area –

For the many travelers joining our Eastern Adventure and Crossroads tours from outside the New York/New Jersey area, our travel coordinators will make flight arrangements for those teenagers to fly into the New York area the evening before the tour begins.  Our staff will meet the teenagers at the designated arrival airport, and we will accommodate the teenagers at a hotel near the airport. Our coach bus picks the group up at their hotel the following morning.  Dinner, hotel accommodations, and chaperoning at the hotel are our treat – there is no charge for this service!

No matter where you’re from and no matter the tour, parents find our departures smooth, and our travel arrangements are implemented in a hassle-free way!  The Rein travel team, with its extensive experience, takes great pride in getting each trip off to a smooth start.
